[Bang-i Sasang / Algorithm of the Mind Ep.1/50] The Brain is Not "You": The Great Illusion of Neuroscience

Summary: Modern science claims that your thoughts and emotions are merely chemical reactions in the brain. Bang-i Sasang challenges this: "If a radio breaks and the music stops, did the announcer die?" This episode reveals that the brain is not a factory of thoughts, but a receiver of the Mind.

1. The Arrogance of Neuroscience: "Searching for the Mind"

Modern people take pills to adjust serotonin levels when depressed or drink coffee to stimulate the brain when they lack focus. Why? Because they firmly believe, "The Brain is Me."

Scientists scan the brain with MRI, analyze electrical signals in synapses, and shout:

"Look! This part of your brain lights up when you feel love. Therefore, love is nothing but a chemical reaction of hormones."

Is that really true? Does the brain create 'Me'?

Bang-i Sasang sternly declares: "Wrong. That is a perfect error of causality."

2. The Paradox of the Broken Radio

Imagine a radio playing beautiful classical music. Suddenly, someone smashes the radio with a hammer. The music stops instantly.

Does this mean the musicians playing the music have died inside the radio?

No. The broadcasting station (Source) is still sending the signal. It is just that the radio (Receiver) is broken and cannot produce sound.

The Brain is not a 'Factory' that creates thoughts, but a 'Radio (Antenna)' that receives the Mind.

  • Brain Disease (Dementia/Depression): The radio's components are damaged. The sound comes out as static or cuts off. But the person's soul (Signal) remains undamaged.

  • Death: The radio is completely destroyed and discarded. But the broadcast signal (Mind) still exists in the universe.

The limitation of modern neuroscience is like "disassembling a radio to find the announcer inside." No matter how finely you slice the brain, you will never find the 'Mind' within it. Because the Mind is not inside the brain.

3. Descartes' Fatal Error

Descartes, the father of modern philosophy, declared: "I think, therefore I am (Cogito, ergo sum)." This sentence has trapped humanity for 400 years. He equated 'Thinking' with the 'Self.'

But observe carefully. A thought pops up: "I want to eat pizza." Did you intend this thought? No, it just floated in.

And there is 'Another You' watching that thought, saying, "Oh, I am thinking about pizza right now."

  • The Thinker: The Brain (Mechanical computing device)

  • The Watcher: The Mind (The real You, The Observer)

Descartes mistook the noise of the machine (Brain) running for the master (Mind). You are not the thinker. You are the 'Watcher.'

4. You are a Terminal of the Universe

Bang-i Sasang's ontology is clear. Humans are not independent generators. We are 'Biological Terminals' connected to a massive Server called the Universe.

Is your brain depressed or anxious?

It’s not that your existence is wrong; your 'Receiving Frequency' is tuned wrongly.

Stop blaming the broken radio (Brain) and just replacing parts. Instead, turn the antenna. The waves of God ($H$) are filling the universe right now.

If you tune your frequency ($G$) correctly, the static will disappear, and the clear music of life will flow again.

This is the scientific reason why we must talk about 'Spirituality' beyond neuroscience.

[The Information Below is a Lifeline]

Are you trapped in the mechanical logic of the brain?

Break the illusion of the radio and connect with the signal of the universe. The 'Map of Dimensional Integration' by Master Bang-i will guide you to your true self.
