[Body Algorithm Ep.5] Spiritual Engineering 1: Preparing the Vessel (The 4 Principles)

Subtitle: The 100% Physical Repentance Humanity Must Perform

1. New Wine in New Wineskins: Physical Repentance

In the previous episode, we confirmed that "Leaky Gut" and "Inflammation" are the physical realities of Sin. Now, we must clear this wasteland and rebuild the fallen walls. Praying alone will not seal the gut lining. This is where Human's 100% Effort must be invested. This is not about earning merit; it is "Bio-Engineering"—laying the wires so that God's Grace (Electricity) can flow.

Bang-i Sasang presents specific principles for enhancing Vital Force.

2. Principle 1: Detox & Nutrition

Modern humans get sick from eating. Processed foods, excessive sugar, and chemical additives are poisons that destroy gut flora.

  • Action: Stop putting toxins (trash) into your mouth. Consume natural foods designed by God.

  • Meaning: Your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit resides. It is a contradiction to throw filth into the temple while hoping for salvation.

3. Principle 2: Water & Salt

Life is flow, and the human body operates on electrical signals (nerves).

  • Action: Consume sufficient water and clean salt (minerals) to balance body fluid salinity.

  • Meaning: Without electrolyte balance, signals disconnect. Salt prevents rot, and water enables flow; they are the default values of life maintenance.

4. Principle 3: Exercise & Sleep

  • Exercise: Laziness is the increase of Entropy (disorder). Sweating and moving muscles is the body's struggle against death (stagnation).

  • Sleep: At night, you must "die" completely. Turning off all worries and entering deep sleep is the training of "Trust"—surrendering all control.

5. Principle 4: Fasting (Empty Stomach)

The most powerful principle is "Emptying." You must empty the stomach to rest the digestive organs so that energy can be redirected toward healing and regeneration.

  • Meaning: Fasting is physical "Self-Denial." When you prove with your body that "I do not live by bread alone," the empty vessel (Kenosis) can finally be filled with heavenly energy.

Keeping these four principles requires grueling effort. But this alone is not enough. At the end of all this effort, the Last Puzzle Piece must be fitted to complete the system. That piece is "Peace."

[Body Algorithm Ep.4] The Physical Reality of Sin: Leaky Gut and Inflammation

Subtitle: The Hellfire Burning Inside: The Mechanism of Chronic Inflammation

1. The Aftermath of War: Collapse of the Barrier

In the previous episode, we saw how the anxiety of the "Spiritual Orphan" drives the brain into a Wartime state. Just as prolonged warfare destroys city walls, the most critical defensive barrier in our body—the Gut Mucosa—collapses.

Cortisol, the stress hormone, loosens the "Tight Junctions" that hold the gut lining together. The filter that should be tight becomes riddled with holes. This is what modern medicine calls "Leaky Gut Syndrome."

2. Invasion of Waste: The Flood of Toxins

When the gut barrier is breached, waste that should have been excreted floods into the bloodstream.

  • Undigested Food Particles: The body recognizes these not as nutrients, but as enemies (antigens).

  • Lipopolysaccharides (LPS): Deadly endotoxins released by harmful gut bacteria.

The channel of life (blood vessels), which should remain holy, becomes polluted with sewage.

3. The Physical Reality of Sin: Inflammation

Here, Bang-i Sasang proposes a shocking definition: "These toxins and the resulting inflammatory response that circulate and destroy the body—this is the physical reality of what the Bible calls 'Sin'."

Sin is not merely harboring bad thoughts.

  • It scratches the inner walls of blood vessels, causing arteriosclerosis.

  • It damages insulin receptors, causing diabetes.

  • It attacks brain cells, leading to depression and dementia. All these destructive acts (Inflammation) are the manifestation of Sin within the body.

4. Lipotoxicity: Accumulated Iniquity

To dilute these toxins, the body tries to trap them in fat cells. As a result, visceral fat accumulates, and the fat cells themselves turn into factories of inflammation—a state known as "Lipotoxicity." Greed (overeating) meets Anxiety (stress) to turn the body into a massive lump of inflammation. If this is not Hell, what is?

Now we know: The problems of the mind lead directly to the collapse of the body. So, how can we rebuild these fallen walls? Starting from the next episode, we will present the "Bio-Engineering" solutions—the 100% effort humans must undertake.

[Body Algorithm Ep.3] The Disease of the Spiritual Orphan: How Anxiety Destroys the Body

Subtitle: Sympathetic Overdrive and the Declaration of Internal War

1. Fundamental Anxiety:

"No One Protects Me" In the previous episode, we defined the "autonomous human" as an "Orphan." At the bottom of an orphan's subconscious lies a constant premise: "There is no guardian to protect me. If I don't stay alert, I will die." This thought is not just worry. To the Brain, this is a "Direct Threat to Survival."

2. Brain Malfunction: Living with a Tiger 24/7

Our brain cannot distinguish between spiritual "solitude" and a physical "predator (tiger)." The brain translates the spiritual orphan's signal of "I am alone" into the physical signal: "A tiger is right in front of me."

Consequently, our body triggers the "Fight or Flight Response." This is Sympathetic Overdrive.

3. Internal Wartime State

When the sympathetic nervous system dominates, the body enters a State of War.

  • Energy Conscription: To fight or flee immediately, blood flow is cut off from the digestive and immune systems and diverted to muscles and the heart.

  • Combat Hormones: Cortisol and Adrenaline flood the system. Blood pressure spikes, and blood sugar rises.

The problem is that there is no tiger. The tiger is the "anxiety" in the mind, so it never disappears. The spiritual orphan burns energy confronting an invisible tiger 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

4. The Betrayal of 100% Effort

In this state, the harder a human tries "autonomously" (100% effort), the faster the body breaks down. You cannot rest when you should (Insomnia), and you cannot digest when you eat (Indigestion). Because no soldier eats leisurely or sleeps deeply in the middle of a battlefield.

The end of Kant's autonomous human is Autonomic Dysregulation. This is the first physical collapse caused by spiritual disconnection. And amidst the fire of this internal war, the body's final line of defense, the "Gut Barrier," begins to crumble.

[Body Algorithm Ep.2] Are You an Orphan or a Child? (The Archetype of Relationship)

Subtitle:The Survival Equation of Infant & Mother vs. Kant's Philosophy of the Orphan

1. The Perfect Model of Relationship

Let's sweep away complex theological theories. The most perfect and intuitive model explaining the relationship between Human and God already exists in nature. It is the relationship between an Infant and a Mother.

This relationship perfectly solves the paradox of "100% vs. 100%" we discussed in the previous episode.

2. The Infant's 100%: Desperate Effort

Look at a newborn baby. The baby does not lie passively, waiting for milk to teleport into its mouth. When hungry, it cries with all its might. It seeks the mother's scent, latches on, and sucks with every ounce of strength. From the infant's perspective, this is labor and struggle for survival. This is exactly what Bang-i Sasang calls "Human Effort." An infant who does not open its mouth will starve.

3. The Mother's 100%: The Source of Existence

However, no matter how hard the infant tries, if the mother does not provide the milk or if she does not exist, the infant's effort becomes zero. Producing the milk, holding the child, and acting as a shield are entirely the mother's domain. This is "Divine Grace."

4. Kant's Fatal Mistake: The Autonomy of the Orphan

Immanuel Kant, the giant of modern philosophy, praised human "Autonomous Reason." He argued that humans can establish and obey moral laws themselves without external authority (God). It sounds noble.

But through the lens of Bang-i Sasang, the human defined by Kant is an "Orphan." An orphan without a mother (The Source) must find milk alone. They must protect themselves. Therefore, the autonomy of an orphan is inevitably filled with Anxiety. An orphan is destined to burn through their own energy and face Burnout.

5. What Is Your Choice?

We must choose. Will you be an "Arrogant Orphan" who collapses from exhaustion while trying to be great on your own? Or will you be a "Desperate Child" who admits inability to live alone and digs into the embrace of Life?

This choice determines even your physical health. Why? Because the anxiety of the orphan immediately attacks the body.

[Body Algorithm Ep.1] Why 100 Plus 100 Equals One? (The Critical Point of Salvation)

Subtitle:Beyond 'Cheap Grace' and 'Arrogant Reason'—The Third Formula of Bang-i Sasang

1. Your Formula for Salvation is Wrong

For centuries, religion and philosophy have engaged in a tedious debate: "Is salvation achieved through human effort, or is it given freely by divine grace?"

Some believe humans need to do nothing, hoping for a "free lunch." This is not faith; it is Spiritual Laziness (Entropy). Others believe human reason and effort alone can achieve perfection. This is not autonomy; it is Arrogance.

Bang-i Sasang (The Thought of Bang-i) declares firmly: Both are wrong. The formula for the completion of life—Rebirth—is not a simple arithmetic sum.

2. The Critical Point

Water remains liquid up to 99°C. Only at 100°C does it undergo a phase transition into steam. The same physical law applies to the spiritual world.

The change we seek is not merely "improvement" to become a slightly better person. It is "Rebirth"—a shift in the dimension of existence. To break through this critical point, two forces of 100% must collide:

  1. Human's 100%: A desperate struggle and choice, risking one's life.

  2. God's 100%: Perfect grace pouring down from the Source of Life.

When these two meet, the result is not 200%. Instead, they finally become "One" (Oneness). This is the true formula of salvation.

3. Nothing Happens Under the Persimmon Tree

Many people mistakenly believe that saying "I believe" reserves a spot in salvation. It is like lying under a persimmon tree with your mouth open. Gravity may drop the fruit, but chewing, swallowing, and digesting it to make it part of your life force is entirely your responsibility.

If you do not exert 100% effort to mold your vessel and hold it up to the sky, even if 100% rain (Grace) falls from heaven, your soul will not catch a single drop.

4. Kant's Failure and Our Challenge

The great philosopher Immanuel Kant believed that human reason could autonomously establish moral laws. However, he overlooked the fact that the battery of the human system is depleted. Self-generation without connection to an external power source (The Holy Spirit) inevitably ends in Burnout.

We intend to restart from the point where Kant failed. We will talk about the amazing paradox that occurs at the "Critical Point of Salvation"—the precise moment when you surrender to the Divine after exhausting 100% of your own effort.
